TEC 45
The Decompression Procedures or Tec 45 (also known as Advanced Deep) course is designed for divers who wish to explore depths greater than 40 meters, exceeding the limits of recreational diving, and begin training for decompression dives. This course is conducted using two bottom gas tanks (twinset or sidemount) and a stage tank.
TEC 45 or Decompression Procedures
Course
This is the main course to get started with decompression processes.
We also cover Physics (Henry's Law, Decompression), Physiology (Decompression Sickness), and learn about the different decompression theories, as well as dive planning with decompression and the use of software for its calculations but also will get into the the ability to manage time, depths, and safety during complex dives.
It’s an incredible course where we expand our comfort zone to 45 meters, a perfect depth for exploring a large number of wrecks and stunning walls.
The course can be done with Air or Trimix 25/25. If Trimix is chosen, an additional theory session is required.
Prerequisites:
Advanced diving certification.
Essentials or Technical diving certification equivalent.
At least 50 logged dives, with 10 deeper than 25 meters.
Nitrox Diver certification.
