CCR 45
CCR DECO DIVER 45 COURSE
AIR 40 / TRIMIX 45
The objective of this course is to learn how to plan and conduct decompression dives using a Poseidon rebreather, with either air or trimix as diluent.
The course includes the use of breathing gases containing a minimum of 20% O₂ and a maximum of 35% He. The maximum depth is 40 meters when using air as the diluent, and 45 meters when using trimix.
Decompression gases with up to 100% oxygen are used during ascent.
PREREQUISITES
Be at least 18 years of age.
Hold an Advanced Nitrox certification or equivalent, issued by an internationally recognized organization.
Have a minimum of 40 documented decompression dives recorded in the diver’s logbook.
Hold a Poseidon CCR Diver 30 m certification.
Have a minimum of 20 logged dives using the Poseidon CCR.
Submit a valid Medical Statement.
Hold mandatory dive accident insurance covering dives up to 45 meters and the use of CCR
COURSE PLANNING
The POSEIDON CCR DECO DIVER 45 course is conducted over four (4) days.
It includes an initial day focused on theory, equipment setup, pre-dive checks, land drills, and one (1) confined water dive, followed by three (3) days of open water diving with a minimum of six (6) dives and at least 420 minutes of rebreather in-water time.
