Maintenance Poseidon CCR Service Features

The Poseidon MkVI and Se7en rebreathers require periodic maintenance by an authorized service technician at a maximum recommended interval of 104 weeks (the current status is indicated by the POST Test 55).

As Official Poseidon Service Technicians, we offer a comprehensive Periodic Maintenance Service package that includes:

• Thorough cleaning and inspection of all components for wear and damage

• Inspection of the Diluent first stage

• Inspection of the Oxygen first stage

• Inspection of the Diluent bottle valve

• Inspection of the Oxygen bottle valve

• Replacement of all O-rings in the breathing loop

• Inspection of the Bail Out Valve (BOV)

• Firmware update for all components

• Successful execution of the POST test

• Resetting of the Factory Service countdown clock

• Disinfection of the entire circuit using Gigasept

All parts and Service Kits are supplied as genuine Poseidon components.

If, in addition to the Service Kit, any part needs to be replaced, a written confirmation of the part’s cost will be requested.

The estimated delivery time is 30 days from receipt at the Poseidon Pro Academy

Please send the complete rebreather:

• Canister

• E-mod

• Battery and charger

• Loop (hoses, counterlungs, T’s, and BOV)

• Bottles and valves

• First stages and hoses

• Computer and cable

• HUD and CPOD

So, everything except: BCD and/or wing and harness

You may send it yourself, or prepare the package and I will arrange for the courier to collect it.

As an Official Poseidon Service Technicians, we required to replace all damaged or worn parts with authorized Poseidon parts in accordance with Poseidon's guidelines for rebreathers.

Our policy for rebreather maintenance is to always replace Oxygen sensors. You may send me two new, unopened cells when you send the CCR, or you may request specific models. Otherwise, we will install two original Poseidon cells. The service price does not include the cells (please refer below for detailed pricing).

If any of the services do not meet your expectations, we will adjust or re-repair your equipment at no additional cost within 60 days of the service date.
